About Kim Huling, Owner and Groomer

I started “grooming” when I was 11, playing “pet salon” and “dress up” with my toy poodle, Tiffany, and my cat, Rusty. I knew then that I wanted to work with animals.

Anew Doo Pet Salon came to fruition after working as a vet tech, where I learned grooming techniques as well as basic vet care. I also started showing/breeding English Springer Spaniels and Basset Hounds with my daughter, Natasha. We both learned several grooming tricks from some of the best professional handlers and breeder/owner/handlers in the area.

I believe that if a pet is treated with kindness, he or she will welcome coming back to the salon to be pampered and groomed by a friend. This philosophy has produced a solid foundation of clients and has allowed me to expand.

At Anew Doo, we understand that our client’s time is as important as ours. Therefore, we schedule appointments throughout the day allowing time for personal attention to each pet. We try to ensure that no pet spends more than 2-4 hours crated, although we do offer all day care for those clients who work.
